Current limits
- The released desktop app is for macOS 12.3 or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
- Screen and camera recording requires macOS 13 or later and OBS Studio 30.2 or later. It produces landscape 1920 × 1080 video.
- Stream Deck control requires macOS 13 or later and Stream Deck software 7.1 or later.
- Whatnot account, show, product, auction, chat, and order actions stay in Whatnot.
- Start Show does not start the public destination broadcast, and End Show does not stop it.
- Stream Deck controls Live Selling; finish and leave Record before using those production controls.
- OBS Virtual Camera carries no OBS audio.
- Structural production settings lock while the local show, output, recording, or setup is active.
- Camera Home and Vendivo Phone Camera (Direct) do not currently select local Mac cameras.
Forthcoming phone companions
Vendivo's iPhone and Android companions are still in store-release preparation and are not public customer downloads. The Mac app includes Camera Home and phone-connection controls, but using Vendivo phones as cameras depends on those companions. Direct phone-to-Mac camera publishing, USB/Wi-Fi phone transport, remote Director controls, phone recording, and mixed-phone lineups belong to that forthcoming customer workflow.
Preview requirements are separated under Android Setup and Wi-Fi Mode Requirements. They are not part of the current first-show path.
Privacy boundary
Local-camera production, screen composition, and saved recordings are handled on your Mac. Broadcasting sends the program to the destination you choose. The desktop app also includes Vendivo account sign-in and phone authorization; those controls are separate from local video composition.
